A great book

. I was encouraged to read this book by a friend. What a great book!! Having 3 grandsons, it gave me insight and ways to encourage my boys to become better men in our society. Which Lords knows we need these days

Reflection on my life

David’s book led me to reflect on my life. I recall my successes/failures, my shortcomings as husband/father and the challenge to be an authentic man. I recommend this book to any boy or man who desires to live a life of significance. A very good read!

Christian Masculinity

The author offer great insight on the value of service, sacrifice and humility. He demonstrates the importance of surrounding your self with other Christian men and the value of having great mentors to help you navigate and overcome difficulties that men experience in life. The book is a very uplifting and will encourage you during these difficult times to turn to our Lord and Savior for salvation and Godly wisdom.

Easy Read & Thought provoking!

I started reading this on a recent long haul international flight & couldn't put it down until I completed it. I found the book humorous and certainly thought provoking. Thanks for the great read Dave !

I received this powerful book as a gift, then immediately bought 10 books to share.

This was a captivating, easy to read book written with honesty, humility and humor! While the "Memoir of Modern Masculinity" sounds like it was written for men, I highly recommend the book to both men and women, young and old. I believe that all men struggle with their "inner man" at times and most can relate to the stories told by Mr. Savage in an earnest and revealing way. The fantastic stories of his "Sixpack" of friends show the incredible value of Comradery with peers of similar integrity. It is apparent that all the men benefited from the group membership when facing their own personal and spiritual challenges. I also enjoyed learning about the author's love for Scouting and the benefits it provided throughout his life. Read this book and pass it on!

This book is entertaining, rife with stories and pictures that invite the reader to appreciate the importance and uniqueness of healthy masculinity.

Entertaining and informative

Great mix of life lessons and life stories. Once you start reading it, it’s hard to put down because you are intrigued to see what life is going to serve David and how he’s going to knock it out of the park. The study assignments and reading list at the end , I found very informative and helpful. Ordered one book and looking to build my faith based library with some more off this list. David has found a unique way of taking life’s challenges-opportunities and making them relatable to anyones upbringing especially if you grew up in. Military family. I can’t wait till his next release.

Great stories!

I loved the humor in this book- I definitely had some good laughs imagining the visuals of David's vivid stories. Connects real-life examples to ways to be a better man, husband, and all-around Christian. No one is perfect, but we can all strive to be better! Definitely recommend for the men in your life.
